ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

FOR 3D ARCHERY EVENT PARTICIPATION

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. This is a legally binding document that affects your legal rights.

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS

I understand and acknowledge that participation in 3D archery events and activities involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. These risks include, but are not limited to:

Injury from arrows, bows, or other archery equipment

Being struck by an arrow shot by another participant

Falls, trips, or slips on terrain including uneven ground, rocks, roots, and other natural obstacles

Cuts, bruises, sprains, fractures, or other bodily injuries

Exposure to weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, lightning, and sun

Encounters with wildlife, insects, or poisonous plants

Equipment failure or malfunction

Actions, inactions, or negligence of other participants

Medical conditions that may be aggravated by physical activity

Catastrophic injuries including paralysis or death

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I freely and voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties (defined below), and assume full responsibility for my participation in the 3D archery event. I agree that I am solely responsible for my own safety and well-being while participating in this event.

3. WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the 3D archery event, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Grunt N Gobble Outdoors LLC, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, advertisers, property owners, and each of their respective successors, assigns, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses (including attorneys' fees), and causes of action of any kind arising out of or relating to my participation in the 3D archery event, including, but not limited to, claims arising from:

The negligence, whether active or passive, of the Released Parties

The condition of the premises, equipment, or facilities

Any breach of any express or implied warranty

Any rescue, emergency, or medical services rendered during the event

4. INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including but not limited to attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way related to my participation in the 3D archery event, including claims brought by third parties.

5. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

I authorize the Released Parties to secure medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so for myself. I understand that I am solely responsible for all costs associated with any medical treatment I receive as a result of participation in the event.

6. REPRESENTATIONS

I represent and warrant that:

I am physically fit and capable of participating in archery activities

I have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation

I will comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by event staff

I will inspect all equipment before use and will not use any equipment I believe to be unsafe

I will immediately notify event staff of any unsafe conditions or practices

I am at least 18 years of age OR have had a parent/guardian sign on my behalf

7. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Indiana, and I hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

8. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

9. COMPLETE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the complete agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings. This Agreement may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties.

BY SIGNING BELOW, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY AND WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF ITS CONSEQUENCES.

Event Rules & Guidelines

• All participants must check in at the registration tent before starting the course

• Eye protection is strongly recommended for all participants

• Arrows must remain pointed downrange at all times

• Only one shooter at a time per shooting stake

• Wait until all arrows are retrieved before any participant moves forward

• No broadheads allowed - field points only

• No dry firing of bows at any time

• Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited before and during the event

• Follow all instructions from event staff and safety marshals

• Report any unsafe conditions or injuries immediately to event staff

• Respect the property and leave no trace

• Have fun and be courteous to fellow participants!

Photo/Video Release (Optional)

I grant Grunt N Gobble Outdoors LLC permission to use photographs, video recordings, or other visual media taken of me during the event for promotional, advertising, marketing, or other business purposes without compensation.
